So ive tried a multitude of things like smelting in wild, mining all sorts of ores and what have you but coal Redstone and maybe lapis are the only thing providing xp. Before the last big break i had like a month ago id gain normal xp for doing all the usual mining and smelting but now like i said its only those 3 ores. did the new update tone down on xp thats given out or am i just experiencing an odd bug? Please take your time on this but if its a bug its very odd. thank you and have a good morning!

Smelting does not give xp, nor does mining iron or gold.

Quartz will only give xp if you mine it in mining after silking it in the nether
