    I have 27,000 atm, never really tried for points over the past 4 years, I look at the notable members and the bottom amount is 40,000 which means 20 players would only have this medal making it harder to achieve. So I voted for 40,000.

    I vote 30000 basically on the lines of in my years here not trying to earn trophies I have earned almost 20,000. I feel those actually striving for it can easily accumulate 30,000 and then have an accomplishment as opposed to just casually earning such a prestigious award.

    Well Ive been here for 5 year with avg forum use and im at 10kish. So maybe we should see what the avg amount of points looks like for longtime users and start there? Oh wait that sounds like a lot of work.... 15k

    Data I used:

    - The top 20 all have more than 40k points.
    - You get more than 10500 points for a bank balance of $4m.
    - You get more than 4500 points for the EcoMaster- ranks, plus a lot of points if you place the money in your bank before ranking up.
    - You get more than 5000 points for doing nothing by simply being a 5 year member.
    - You get a lot more than 10000 points for 4000 posts, all of the top 20 players are above 4500.
    EDIT: And 10000 points for forum premium, which is already a *very* significant amount.

    My opinion: 30-35k, I voted for 35k.


    Although I propose 31,415 instead for... obvious reasons.

    Thing is, it actually is for those people who have been around for a long time and haven’t necessarily been trying to earn them. We are rewarding continued & long dedication to our forums :)

    I too do not strive for forum trophy points and I have over 40k! somehow... O_O.
    Though ideally some of those points are membership trophies. Which only make up about 2300 of them. Most of my points actually come from rating/post count and having all the "Eco" ranks.
    I did a quick addup of most of the bigger forum trophies, that's post count, ratings and ingame achievements(Eco ranks) and that comes around to 23-25k.
    I think 30k is pretty fair to strive for, since you can get pretty close with being active via the forums and striving for the big ranks in-game, both which take time and activity to accumulate. Not to mention the new balance trophies.

    50k of Trophy points seems like an accomplishment to me. But it's not up there. But that's just my opinion. Lol. :)

    I have been here for a bit over a year and accumulated over 17K points. I have literally never tried to get them, but I have been very active. Making it 35K means that people will need about 2 years of active gameplay, which to me seems like a pretty high bar :). (Also I am not sure if new trophies just got added, since I just got like 30 trophies)


    Edit: 40K seems like it would be almost too rare, so my vote is 35K

    I believe 25,000 is fair because
    1. the top 10 have 40,000 scattered pretty evenly from 40k - 90k, making me believe that not many people have anywhere from 25-40k, making this fair and
    2. over the course of 5 years I have only 18,000 trophy points for some reason

    For some reason I’m kind of leaning at going back to 25,000 ...

    Only 33 people have the medal now at 35,000
    Meanwhile 85 people had the medal at 25,000

    ...

    I mean at least in my opinion probably better if less have it right away.

    Lots of people like earning medals and its hard to actually try and earn a medal of everyone who wants it just gets it right off the bat.

    Some people want 25k in order to make the medal accessible to more people and not be limited to the very very top.

    Some people want 35k in order to make the medal rarer and harder to get so that people can work for it.

    Both are valid points. Solution?

    Make it 30k
