I think they should really be turned back on the wild is not the Wild anymore with out it and it takes away the survival end of the server and is way to hard to get xp and bones.Even If i where to buy the flag in my already built town they would not spawn because its to light and to make it light and dark is very annoying.
Deal with it, we want more players and not having wild mobs makes us able to have more players without having to do too many hardware upgrades.
Also encourages players to join towns more, also another money dump... It just makes everything easier for the staff, and benefits the server. Only thing people lose is the extremely rare occurrence of mobs in the wild, which was so low that I don't see why people care unless they had a spawner...
Caused way too much lag, and not many people participated in the first place. As well, some users hated it. (Assuming you are talking about the official server monster hunts we used to have a while back, otherwise, I don't know.)
I like the change. I purchased the flag change as did my friend who's town borders mine. We rarely saw a passive mob and never saw a hostile mob in either town and they are very dark. We have only started working on one corner in my town so we assumed we might see some mobs. I had to lead with wheat mobs from the wild into our towns thru hole cut in our walls to get any mobs in our town. I tried hunting many nights in the wild for mobs when mcmmo existed and I wanted to level my archery. Most nights I could not find a single hostile mob. I would settle for shooting a few passive in the wild and give up. Now I get to see a few usually every night if I go hunting in the dark places with lots of trees in our towns and it no longer feels like the flag changes were a waste.
I don't know about everyone else, but I saw ridiculous amounts of mobs while I was mining. I used to level up my mcmmo combat while mining.
