I recently sold roostermc22 two features last weekend with the agreement of 5k per USD, after receiving his features he blocked me from conversation and did not pay his end of the bargain. I did not know how to take a screenshot (clarinetpheonix taught me afterwards) so one was not taken. The reality of the situation is that I am out $50 and have nothing at all to show for it. I own the card that was used to purchase his features and still have it in my posession. Instead of create a ruckus about this I was hoping to solve it more peacefully and maturely so i bring my issue to you here. Sorry for the delay in posting this but my work requires me to travel and my physical therapy is very demanding on my time schedule. Please do whatever you can to help.
Sorry to hear that this happened to you. I really hope that you and @roostermc22 can work this out somehow, because I for one would hate to lose so much money.
I don't think you can sort that problem out, I think in order to make safe transactions in the future, make a contract on the forums. -DebtLYFE A.K.A _Sharpy
If you read the post beallc has pretty much figured that out... with screenshots it can be figured out. There is no need to use forum contracts unless you want to ensure that late fees are clearly enforced, but you can do that anyway. If you take the proper screenshots (which I am sure beallc will) then it has a similar effect.
A contract is meaningless without screenshots. Personally I don't bother with contracts unless I have a lot of conditionals that need to be layed out.
Get the money first before you buy the feature for said person. Take lots of screen shots for proof. If the user will no pay you first then ask a mod to middle man for you (hold the money until the feature has been received by the buyer) If the user still says no to the middle man with a mod, then he/she is more than likely trying to scam you so you then ....Tell them to piss off.
