As an Australian, I have you know that the following sentence is triggering me and you should check your regional dialect privilege. "What color is a moderator." As you may or may not be aware, we Aussies (and pretty much the rest of the English speaking world) Correctly spell 'color' with an additional u: 'Colour". Now, you might think that i'm suggesting we make it 'colour' in the application, but that would be silly, because you damn yanks would get confused. As such I suggest we replace this with a new sentence, preferably lacking in words like: behaviour and behavior humour and humor rumour and rumor honour and honor armour and armor Anyway, if you'll excuse me i'll just fade back into obscurity
I think In the app somewhere it says something about having to type American English Though I do feel your pain as I'm from England
Most wikis have different pages for different languages. Make 2 copies of every page but do one in American English and one in regular English.
It's part of the application because of this: The Wiki Team uses American spelling. What do you think of that? Can you write using American spelling? (i.e.: Color instead of colour):
^ It is a requirement for the wiki team, so it is natural to check whether it is actually being fulfilled in the application. However, I agree that colour simply looks better. ;-;
Thank you for enlightening me on my privilege. You will be pleased to know I have already begun self loathing. I will be also creating an awareness event for regional dialect privilege at my local university.
That sentence is in there specifically because of the American English requirement. Sorry, it's not changing.
