    Hello folks,

probably nobody knows me, thats ok. I played activly like 6-8 months back and had to leave the game because of RL. I recently rejoined like 2 weeks ago....and will stop playing now. I spent like 80$ for this game and maaany hours.

I loved this server once and I think it deserves that I at least try to help.

    So my reasons for leaving:

    - too slow progress. It takes ages to get from a max fort pick to a Eff7 pick. Nothing between. Making cash with farming is boring as [insert random word]
    - features are too expensive, it feels like a rip off to me. 100$ to repair enchanted tools? come on.....
    - chat spam. beggers in /ch trade, lotto spam, sg spam (yes, I can switch that off but it comes back every day orso. so I cant switch it off permanently)
    - nothing to do. sure, I could build a village...but who would move to that village? there are plents of ghost towns out there already.
    - very few new ppl enter the game. before I made the decision to stop playing I spoke to a real veteran about creating a community here: Building a town, giving free plots to ppl and sharing features we got. he said I should forget that, not many new players join. and I also got the same feeling....so this veteran only confirmed what I already thought.

Feeling ripped off by those overpriced features is a really important reason for me to leave.
Btw I dont care if you share my opinion about the points I stated. I just tried to make clear why I leave

Sorry for my english, I am no native speaker.

    Good luck in the future

(and I wont give my stuff/money to you :p)

@GermanHerman I'm sorry you have come to this decision and hope you will return some time in the near future.

While I agree with you to an extent I would like to point out that star tools are meant to be hard to obtain and give players a reason to put in the hard work required to own one, unless of course you are lucky enough to stumble upon a give away such as the snipe contest that happened earlier. Some players will even rent star tools to trusted players which can help you save for your very own.

While I agree some features are expensive, the server itself costs money to run and without these we may not have a server that has what Ecocitycraft has to offer. It is worth noting that you can have other players buy the features for you in exchange for in-game money.

I have no idea who this veteran player you speak of is but I will say that his or her comments only contribute to players such as yourself not staying long enough to get the full benefits of owning their own towns and star tools. Also in my opinion giving free plots benefits no one and only helps to create more of the people you complain about in your third point.

Finally more people than you would think enter the game, the problem is how many of them choose to stay and much depends on who they encounter first here or in your case who you chose to speak to regarding your future plans when you returned.
