Pistons in Mining World?

It won't happen.

 

It would cause way to many bugs, duplication, and lag issues sorry :/

ik but pistions in minning world would be also they would probably be used for iligal auto farms so they should not exsist

Well, the problem isnt really autofarms. Its duping bugs. I believe that one day pistons will be on this server... that day is just not in the forseeable future.

 

I think that the dupe bugs were actually fixed in 1.3.1, it was mentioned in a change log.

 

- Performance improvements, including reduced CPU, RAM & bandwidth requirements.
- Updated Pistons to make them less error-prone, thus they also appear to update slower. This also altered the way Pistons work, so you might have to adapt your repeater delays and similar.

So despite the fact that the pistons have now been designed to work in multiplayer we still refuse to use them.

 

Player Traps are illegal.

 

This hasn't fixed everything, pistons are still bugfactories.

 

And you've tested this?

 

I've tested pistons thoroughly every update, I've already found 1 duping bug.
So yes, it's still a bugfactory

 

Isn't that only in the main world?, i thaught it was allowed in the mining world/nether?
