I may be a minority but I'm not interested in sg (or the lotto). I know I can hide sg spam with sg messages but it always comes back next time I log in. Is there a way of making them go away until I say otherwise? Thanks
Perhaps a macro could help, but I get the same thing when I use /sg messages. I think it's a temporary thing like /ignore.
the /sg messages resets every time the server restarts. Which usually doesn't happen every day. I don't see why anyone should spend the time to code that when you can simply type /sg messages whenever you need to.
Thanks for that information. I'm ignorant on a lot of common sense things, and I always wondered what caused it since it wasn't an 'every time' thing. Thank you. @secretlondon, I agree with you that I wish those messages never came up since I don't SG or Lotto, but I don't think it will change. I just think of them, and the fact that we have to hide them on a regular basis, as 'necessary evils' to help the server.
