People have been killing others in non-pvp areas(e.g. mining world). I want to put a stop to it. I myself have been killed in the mining world. They are not stopped because while the server will prevent you from using a weapon, it does not detect it if you light someone else with flint ad steel. Players are getting rich from looting others, and I recently lost all my iron armor because of looters lighting me with flint and steel. THIS MUST BE STOPPED!!!!!!!!!!!
If you file a complaint, the staff will probably look at the logs and ban the person who did it to you.
you need to take screen shots of the play who did it. F2 I believe. Than file a complaint. Also next time someone lights you on fire, type /spawn. Than walk into the portal. The water in the portal will put out the flames. I use that when I touch lava.

Well it is not awesome because i lost my armor and mining world is not pvp! Ecocitycraft would be a better place if nk one stole or griefed (i griefed once)
lol wtf? on a related note: If you feel someone is about to try to kill you, or is actively trying to kill you while in a non PVP enabled area of ECC, PLEASE remember to take screenshots of any and all attempts. Without proof, there is nothing we can do to counteract any wrongdoing. After taking the screenshots please calmly head to the complaints department, and use the proper format to fill out a complaint, linking us to your uploaded, original, uncropped photos. If possible, a Video could be used in place of screenshots, as it captures MUCH more than you can with f2. But if video recording equipment is not available to you in minecraft, screenshots do work, if used properly. This is something i have noticed happening more and more, and we need EVERYONES help at putting a stop to it. Proof proof proof.
One time, I left my computer to get something, and when I got back, I had been suffocated with sand. I lost some really good stuff. Unfortunately, I was not quick enough to get evidence. I support a non pvp mining world.
get into a habit of logging out everytime you leave the computer. it is so quick to log back in, it is not that much of an inconvenience.
I have a macro that teleports me home if I get under 4 or 5 hearts so no one can kill me in the mining world or mailworld
typos I have a strong shovel so when i am in a hole, I have a quick way to get out. but i do not use macros yet i need them, only if i had my computer working fine.
You do realize you just said peie are getting rig off of looting you iron armor right? That's worth like $200 DooWah
Nelsin, "realize" is spelled with a "Z" not an "S". And here in America, it's spelled "armor", not "armour". (You'll note that "armour" comes up red in spellcheck. Also, most sentences end with a period. And also, it should be said "rich off of* looting", because otherwise it sounds a bit odd.
I personally want PVP back in the mining world, there is no challenge now other than lava which gets rid of the challenge. Also if you are afk in the mining world then something is bound to happen just go back to /home or logoff.
