Minecraft Username: Ozmomo Reason: I was banned for minor grief of a town called "Cheesy Ville" Counter-Reason: I believe my ban is very unfair and harsh. Me and my friend (Meggymoo121) bought a plot and lived in the town Cheesy Ville. We read all the town rules and got building. We made a basement and the owner of the town (CaptainCheesy) said we needed to fill the basement in as soon as possible, of course we asked why and he said "it's an unofficial rule yet but no basements allowed." We thought this was very unfair seeing as we only had a plot 10 by 10 and didn't know this rule, so we probably wouldn't of purchased the plot in the first place. He started destroying the roof of our house and filling in bits of the basement. Me and Meggymoo121 went to his house (not going to lie here, being completely honest) and destroyed part of his house (minor grief as the ban stated). He kicked us out of the town as soon as he saw the minor grief and reported it to an admin. The Admin was very unreasonable and was only interested in one side of the story and what he saw. The admin also seemed very cosy with CaptainCheesy and I believe our ban was totally biased and overlooked.
Hello ozmomo and thank you for appealing your ban. As you can tell, grief is never acceptable. Especially when used as retaliation. The reason why you were banned was for griefing, not because the Staff member who banned you was friends with your Mayor. It would have gone down the same way regardless of the Town, Mayor or the person who was griefing. If you feel that the staff operated outside of our guidelines, I encourage you to file a staff complaint through the proper methods.
