Hello, I'm sure that most of you have heard about hurricane sandy by now, and the fact that many have been/will be affected by it. A lot of people will lose power and not be able to access ECC/the forums for a couple days. The reason I have posted this is to let you Ecocitycrafters know that you should be careful about doing LWC removals or classifying people as 'inactive' during the whatever amount of time that the hurricane lasts. I, for one, definitely do not want to come back from the power outage and see my whole storage and house gone Thanks, -Skull
Same here, the hurricane is supposed to hit where I live tonight, and I probably will lose power for a while, so yea that would be terrible if I come back with all my stuff gone.
I agree! Most lwc's are now not done unless the person has been offline 7 days+ but for now, I might not do it unless they've been offline 14 days+ just to be sure. Frankly mayors etc. should just enjoy 1.4 and not do lwc's for a few weeks. Its not going to kill you to have stuff sit there awhile longer. RagMan
Thank you! It feels good to see this coming from a supermod and to see that noone is against my opinion. Thank you so much. P.s I have off of school tommorow This is highly unexpected for me since my district is high class education and barely takes snow days off.
It would be really nice to see considerate people, but I'm sure some will be mean and not care at all. :/ Do stay safe and be prepared (if you haven't been hit yet). I've been in nasty weather before, and if you are not prepared, it can be bad. D:
I actually got really lucky. Only thing I lost was a couple trees and I live in NJ like 10 minutes from the ocean. My street was the only one around me that has power. But my Internet isn't working, probably like some snapped cables or something but I'm not sure. Im posting this from my phone btw. So I probably won't be able to get on ecc for a while, sadly.
Honestly, there's much more important things to worry about than your items in a virtual game when there's a hurricane outside.
