(>*O*)> FIFTEENTH EDITION OF THE ECC BLOG <(*O*<)

WELCOME
Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the fifteenth edition of the ECC blog! *Bows to applause* Before I really get into the this edition I would like to talk about an idea I’ve been throwing around inside my head as a way to get the ECC blog more out there on the server and to also get some awesome community participation. My idea is that during this holiday season the ECC blog will be hosting a holiday build contest! This build contest will be basically the same event as the spooky build contest that was put on by the ECC staff team just recently from the month of October. I’ll have this in a poll so I can get everyone’s opinions on whether you all would like this to be an event that I would host. You can also leave your ideas or comments on this subject in the comments section below . Now, without further ado I give you all the fifteenth edition of the ECC blog!

FEATURE TOWN
This week’s feature town was submitted to me by none other than one of ECC’s very own GameAdmins KMaxwell, and it is the very adorable town of BunnyIsland. This town, ladies and gentlemen, is completely full of massive bunny statues made of all the blocks in the game and are used as houses for those lucky enough to have bought one. I personally will admit that the first time I saw this town I instantly bought my very own bunny statue whilst under the influence of BUUUUNYZ! I regret nothing. I sat down with KMax to discuss her town, here’s what was said:

AETHER/SKYLANDS BUILD CONTEST
At this very moment you can enter in an awesome build contest being held by WolvieD2GMark and takes place in the aether (obliviously by the title you can figure that out). I think it’s so great that he’s stepping up to try and beautify the aether spawn with awesome build contest entries. I’m sure that having all the cool creations you all will come up with will surely aid in encouraging others to participate in the aether. Whether it’s to check out the builds or participate yourself, I would really recommend checking out the contest page here!

IS BUYING PERMS TO AETHER/NETHER A GOOD IDEA?
Lately I’ve been seeing this question come up more and more. It seems that every time I browse the forums there’s always a new poll or thread asking if these perms are really good ideas. I;m here to hopefully help you all out for making a decision in these regards.
Firstly with the aether, I would only recommend getting it if you have a true appreciation for the epic builds it contains or if you yourself are an avid builder (not the rank obliviously). I personally do not have the aether permission rank at this time, but lately I’ve really been considering it so that I can expand on the kinds of builds that we feature here at the ECC blog. So basically only buy an aether rank (pilot, captain) if you want to see builds. It is not a place for you to go and mine, that’s not the point of it.

Now with nether it’s a completely different story, the nether is basically in its simplest form, a battle ground for hunters and miners alike. Now I don’t want to scare you away from the idea of the nether but one thing that you do need to remember is that it is PvP enabled so you need to go there prepared. Never under any circumstances enter the nether with your best pick and absolutely no armor because you will die in lava. I would honestly have to say that when it comes to your life, lava is really the thing that will end you. People aren’t really interested in pvping in the nether because everyone’s there either to mine, farm spawners, or hunt nether creatures. Overall I would recommend getting nether perms if you can enter prepared because there is money to be made there, it’s just kind of dangerous.

Wow, that looks amazing! Thank you so much for making a banner if you could make it more of a general graphic (not edition specific) i would totally love to have it as the official banner! Ill start a forum conversation with you asap
