Obtain nstars that do not interact with other nstars (not sure how to get them tbh. I left my 16 bugged nstars in a chest at -183 80 -79 to test) 2.) Try to trade them for EXP or convert them with 48 other nstars that aren't bugged for a jigsaw 3.) the nstars probably got renamed b4. i had the same issue with a jigsaw that i renamed. couldnt convert it to 64 nstars or anything.
I've replaced your bugged NetherStar's with normal ones. I was able to reproduce the issue by naming a NETHER_STAR "Nether Star" in yellow. (Which is the normal name.) Looks like BobbyBlack is correct, naming them causes this. No big deal to be honest. Doesn't affect their usage in any way.
