When purchasing a town, PLEASE understand your rights! When you purchase a town via a contract you do not become the Rightful Town Owner. You may be listed as an owner with /RG I, but this is not the same as being a Rightful Town Owner. When doing a contract, ensure with that contract that you also process a Town Transfer Application. This application adds $250,000 ECOdollars to the cost, but it makes you the 100% owner of the town you are buying and completely 100% the previous owners of the town. Why is this difference important? Simple, town portal, town chat, and any other town feature requires the Rightful Town Owner to not only post this application, but to be listed as an owner of the town. This can slow down, if not fully stop your application being granted. It also further means that if you wish to sell the town you get the 250k back as well as the safety that the Rightful Town Owner wont sell the town from under you. Player be very aware.
Is this a warning for just the general people? oooh, I get it. It is just warning people that are buying a town from someone! SOrry xD
Right, when a town is sold just using contracts, you dont become the rightful owner, or worse, when done without even using a contract. When buying a town, the town transfer app is required, in my view to safeguard against all other player interferences
You know, I really didn't know this, and I was just thanking him... And if Arisen hadn't had made this, I wouldn't have known it until later.
