Code: Minecraft Name:kconahan Suggestion:to have a new world in ecc were there would be no grieving rules and no pvp rules, all mobs would be enables, and TNT, pistons, and player traps would be enabled. Basically a mayhem world were people can slaughter there friends and enmities in player traps and grief till there hearts content! Reason:so I've been seeing all these threads about a purge and stuff were all rules are eliminated and pvp is enabled world wide as well as griefing, and I think this would be really fun. However my idea is not to have the whole server turn into chaos but have a dedicated world for it. This world would be purely for fun. You would not gain anything from it (meaning you would not be able to take things like mobs or mob eggs into the main world or pistons or TNT or anything else that's disabled in the main world). This world would be great for bringing in new members, great for the old players who are loosing interest in ecc and need something fun to do, and great for people who just love chaos. Hope you guys like my idea and leave lots of feedback all I ask is that you post respectful well thought out replies and absolutely no rude, vulgar, hateful, mean, or hurtful things derected at me.. I have had many bad experiences in this forum from all you haters on here and I will not have this turn into a flame war. I wil simply have it locked which would be a shame as a really think this is a good idea Any Other Information: I think this could be done with relit evenly little lag to the server but correct me if I'm wrong Link To This Plugin: I think this would be relatively easy to do. It would be similar to mining world just with more things allowed.
Purge world, I think it should be added. Although it might cause lag, that would be the one down side
-1 I tihnk it would just be a useless world. If griefing is allowed and so is pvp, noone will build there. The world will just be a useless wasteland for pvp'ers and we already have a pvp world.
Here is my stand on this suggestion. From the start, you said "Pistons, mobs..." I thought, lag. If lag wasn't an issue, then this would be an amazing idea but, lag is your opposition on this suggestion. Andrew won't add this for lag that it would cause. I think it is a very creative idea and I do indeed like it, but this sounds like more of a PvP server style world but, we are an economy server hence the the name "EcoCityCraft". I do really like the idea of this and it is very creative but, it won't happen as of now. -1
That's the point though. It would draw in people who don't care about economy one bit and who just want to pvp, just like the hunger games does.
Everyone needs to STOP suggesting purge stuff. Ecocitycraft has no use and never will have one for purges. Also another world will be laggy. If you want purge ecocitycraft is NOT the place for it. You need to have a vanilla server for purge because the lwc plugin will never have support for this and never will just because of 1 server requesting it. TL;DR: STOP SUGGESTING PURGE STUFF.
If they don't care about economy and want to PvP they will go to a PvP server. Just think about what you're saying in this suggestion... All you're asking for is basically the nether with pistons. You want Andrew to go to the effort of creating this world (which will create A LOT of lag) just so you can do something that you do on a PvP server.
Same thing with the hunger games though right? If people want to play on a hunger games server then they would just go to a hunger games server. But if you type in "hunger games servers" on the google search engine and what do you know, ecocitycraft is in top 3 hunger games servers. Even though we're advertised as a "economy server doesn't mean it can't have some good ol pvp in it
There are plenty of servers out there that offer this kind of play. I like ECC because it is not one of those servers. -1: If you wanna PvP there's places to do it. Dead set on Griefing? There are (albeit limited) places to do it. Wanna blow stuff up, there's a place to do it. It sounds like we have this "Purge World" already. Welcome to the Nether. If you want to have this kind of fun, I'm sure others would love to as well. The thing to do is not create another world. The thing to do is start promoting the Nether as a place to have this chaotic fun, and you get to reset and have the chaotic fun all over again once a month! Nothing is keeping small groups or individuals from making some cool NStone fortresses in the Nether to stage huge battles, and the reset isn't really that big a setback when the materials are basically free.
