As F2 no longer works for chat/inventory, I need a new way to instantly take and save screenshots in minecraft. I can't use [print screen] because I play in fullscreen (f11) and print screen gives me is a black picture. Does anyone know if there's a way to easily take screenshots without having to make the screen smaller, open up paint and then save the picture? I need to be able to do it instantly so I don't miss anything. I've already missed a bunch of things I thought I had screenshots of
I use a program called greenshot to screenshot the whole application like this It uses hotkeys to take screenshots. (Mine are CTRL+SHIFT+ 2,3 or 4, similar to the mac screen capture)
Thanks!! I've downloaded it and it seems pretty good. Only problem is that it still gives me black when I play fullscreen. Guess I have to play it maximised until Mojang fixes the screenshots...
I use Gyazo. Just click the icon on your taskbar and choose which area to take a screenshot of. It also automatically copies the image link to your clipboard
In the MC 1.7.3 update this is fixed. https://mojang.com/2013/12/minecraft-1-7-3-pre-release/ To update to 1.7.3 prerelease go to edit profile and make sure it says the same as here:
