I just noticed that the letter "t" in the new logo more-so looks like a cross rather than a letter. This could give give the impression that ECC is a christian foundation. Though that may or may not be true; would you really want to single out all of the Jews, Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Agnostics, Atheists, and etc from playing here?
I don't see anything wrong with it. It is merely a font and has no intention of giving of religious views.
Considering that it is part of a font, and is part of the word, I doubt that it would be a problem. Although, I do see what you are saying.

... You never see people make a big deal out of things like crab, but you'd be surprised how people react to even the slightest hint of supporting/believing in a certain religion. Religion is a very, very touchy subject. If it looks like it may be a religious symbol, then I can see a very good reason for removing it to prevent unnecessary problems. This is not criticism, this is simply pointing out a possible future issue to prevent unnecessary issues that could arise and cause trouble for everyone on the server, benefiting no party whatsoever. On topic: Honestly, if it can be easily changed, then I can see reason to change it. It probably won't cause too many problems, but it doesn't hurt to prevent them if at all possible.
This kind of thing only causes issue when it is brought up and mentioned that it would be an issue....otherwise, it would probably never be an issue. The forum and the server are very clearly for Minecraft, not for some kind of religious foundation. I am highly doubting this will be a legit problem. If it becomes a problem, it would likely be due to a troll. Also, many, many, MANY fonts have t's that look like crosses. You cannot avoid it and no one makes that distinction unless other religious things are involved. :/ Sans and no sans, sans serif, serif... I think the only reason it could be seen a religious cross is due to color, which isn't much a reason to change it, imho.

I see no problem with it, it's only when something is said it becomes a problem. Also, I think it fairly clear that it's an economy minecraft server and not the website of a church because it says "The #1 major economy" and to the right of that "minecraft server ip: mc.ecocitycraft.com" .
the issue is not that the letter 't' looks like a cross. The issue is that this particular font has 't's that look more like a cross than any other font I've seen. It is about the ratio of height to width, and the height of the crossbar on the 't'. I don't care one way or the other, but it totally looks like a cross.
It's a font, and I'm sure they know that, if they don't, and they do complain (Like you're saying) then we'll just let them known that it's a T, using the T font that was used.
