We found some flaws in the crafting requirement for foods in global chat today. Here's one example: Cocoa beans + milk + sugar = CHOCOLATE MILK Major thanks to scottmichaelj for that one (all his idea, and it's pretty good, eh?) Here's one I made: Cocoa beans + water + sugar = TEA So yes, I was a little interested to see if anyone else could come up with some of these (I think they're epic! Discuss and share!) Here i have some of my own too! Knife: Does half as much damage as a sword, yet uses half of the material. (Can be used with any material that can be used to craft a sword) Hide Shield: When in hand AND holding the right mouse button, the shield with half the oncoming damage. Will not prevent damage from falling, hunger, poison, or other damage that does not relate to striking from another force.
Yes, although I have figured out that swords in the blocking stance do not really protect you from zombies and most mobs other than pigmen for that matter. Blocking with a sword is more for SMP PvP.
If only these things were added instead of huge Minecraft updates which "wreck" the game, as far as I am concerned 1.2.5 should of been the final product, and only add small little things such as what is mentioned above
I'll make you guys a mod for this, for a price though. If you want I can make a few more additions to it as well, such as a battle axe
Thanks guys. You're all getting +1 ratings for the epic ideas. I'd love to see an easier way for mossy cobblestone to be obtained, and it's kind of you to say that you can make any ideas anyone has. Easter eggs sound fantastic too.
guys...every single one of these suggestions has already been made..i've seen at least a dozen mods that have this type of stuff. Just go out and look for awhile ;P shouldn't be that hard to find one mod containing it.
berrys. Natural spawn on leaves, and you need to right click shears to get them. Can be used for crafting in cookies, cake, etc. New ECC farming material
2 cocoa beans + 1 redstone dust = coffee beans coffee beans + blaze powder + potion bottle of water = coffee
Yes most of this stuff has been thought of or is already in the tekkit launcher. Although I do love everyones amount of enthusiasm about this! Here or not, keep posting these cool ideas!
Why doesn't minecraft just make 100 blank item slots with properties that can be eddited in the server package? these items could be customized in any way and minecraft would be programed to search for the added textures and properties when it loggs onto a server. with a feature like that mods would no longer be needed to make special items.
