Minecraft Name: eekelmo Suggestion: To create a /help chat or something along those lines in order to help new players understand what each channel is for. Reason: You commonly see newer players chat in trade or auction, or sell items in auction, or run an auction in trade, this would help a lot. Any Other Information: It could be like this: Global Channel [/ch g]: Used for speaking to other players generally Trade Channel [/ch tr]: Used to sell items, but not for auctions Auction Channel [/ch auc]: Used to auction off your items Local Channel [/ch l]: Used to talk to all players within 400 blocks of you. Hunger Games Channel [/ch hg]: Use this to talk to players in the same hunger games arena you're in. Town Chat Channels [/ch <townname>]: Custom chat channels that are made for towns, all chat rules still apply in these. Link To This Plugin: It's already installed, a text file just needs to be written.
hello, This is a very good idea, however to the best of my knowledge this is in place in the tutorial world (Not sure if finished or not). zedoker
I know that, i just wanted to just make sure that you are aware. Since we are talking about convenience, why not implement this a general /help start command that explains everything in a general light. ill post thesuggestion hread here later.
There is a command on most servers called /help op, it displays a message to all the staff members online, this would be good if implimented due to staff wouldn't like to get spammed by new channels, if it was just the one channel it may get confusing for staff to handle complaints when new ones keep getting thrown at them. Also it makes it easier using /help op as some staffmembers are AFK looking at the forums so there is no need to message the ones who are busy in your attempt to find an ecc staff member to help you.
