I am suggesting we have a forum thread for a Pre approval forum tag for gold members much like the one for IG Custom tags. This to insure the user doesn't get any complaints on them.
Although its not stated for this feature, for the custom tag feature in game it says "The following tags are not allowed: [$] [$$] [$$$] [$$$$] [VIP] as well as anything to do with any staff / official donation rank such as [Admin] [Mod] [Owner] [$$$$$$$] etc. All tags must follow our server rules. Please use common-sense when selecting one." That should be easy enough to follow, the only reason custom tags has a thread is because the amount more people that buy custom tags and the fact they can't change it after being purchased.
Honestly with things like this its best to use your common sense, I'm my opinion there is no need for this
Hello, Although it would cut down on a few complaints, I wouldn't say there are enough complaints that it is a major problem in need of its own thread. There have been several cases recently, but I don't think it is that big of a problem and I hope it doesn't get any bigger. If it does become a very serious issue, I agree that this would be the best solution. Revanrose6
Static you don't need to be approved for that stuff and just be careful and don't do like "Server Co-Owner" and "Head Person" and stuff. You need common sense, and also "Head EcoLeader" might get you a complaint, just warning ya because it may seem like you are a high up rank like staff and it might confuse younger players. So if you don't want a complaint, don't do any signatures with "Server" "Owner" "Lover" "Head" or really anything that isn't good or could possibly confuse younger players, and tbh you as an EcoLeader should have more than enough common sense to not get complained on for having a "Staff- Seems like staff rank Tag" It's not that hard. Just do like a status update and don't give yourself a fake rank or staff rank really.
There is no need for a pre-approval process on gold-user tag lines. I am not sure if it can be set-up that way, either. As well, it would feel as though a bit is taken away with the forum premium; I usually see it as a creative "upgrade," if you will. (And it already doesn't count towards donation total, so I'd hate to feel limited and/or like there is even less to it.) Just use common sense. Don't make a tag line that implies you are any kind of authoritive figure toward something that new and old users would believe is something server-related. For example, if you do something like "Leader of teh Cows," "Penguin Emperor," "Cake King," "Nether Soldier," etc you may be fine. None of those things are ECC- or person-specific. However, anything that says or implies you are of a rank, status, etc to something ECC- or person-specific would confuse users, potentially cause drama, spread false information, and so on.
Yeah, what she said. And static you are making this suggestion because you were complained on for tags that real or not seemed like staff. "Head EcoLeader" seems like a staff rank to younger players so I would suggest changing that, and also you do not need a approval thread, and as I say it again, you just need common sense to know what seems like staff and what doesn't. Seriously static all of your complained on tags seemed like staff and so does "Head EcoLeader" I suggest doing something like "Static King", advertising your youtube channel, stuff like that.
Since you can can change it yourself, so there is no reason for a pre-approval thread. I would follow the same rules for custom tags. Ask a staff member ahead of time if you would like to make sure. If you use common sense while picking the name, you should not have any issues.
