hey @Kafas1 just a couple things I need fixed before we can approve this and get the sale underway Need a time schedule relative to the contract approval for both parties (you making the sign, you adding him and removing yourself as owner, and @rivercobber paying the sign). i.e. instead of "will set up a sign" with no time limit, something along the lines of "will set up a sign within 24 hours of contract approval" or something. does not need to be exactly 24 hours. @rivercobber currently since @Kafas1 is the original owner they could legally reclaim the town at some point. I would recommend asking @Kafas1 to put in something along the lines of ' @Kafas1 will not attempt to reclaim the town from @rivercobber unless @rivercobber has been inactive for 4 months ' or something along those lines, not necessarily 4 months. @rivercobber please don't sign till after @Kafas1 edits the contract for the above, as if you do you'll just need to sign a second time
ok I will not sign it but kafas1 is only on every two to 3 days so can you keep this open till she has sorted it out ty
Okay, I added the part about not reclaiming, but we have actually already worked out payment since the first contract got denied. So I said we already did it, does that take care of the payment timing issu?
@Kafas1 it may work if you put the date that I payed you in there to something like " As of writing this contract, payment for the town has already been made by @@rivercobber and received by @Kafas1 on the 24th march 2015 through the sign at the above coordinates." that may work or I think it does any lol
@rivercobber I was just randomly poking my nose in. Just so you know, you cannot put a term in a contract that violates any server rule or server-given right. The term I speak of is the term that says that @Kafas1 can not reclaim their town or it would be breach of contract. This is a server-given right of Official Owners having the ability to reclaim their towns can no longer be voided or revoked in contracts. The ownership you are transferring in this contract is Legal Ownership. If you wish to have Official Ownership of the town you need to file for a Town Transfer App. You also need to note the world that the payment sign is in addition to its coords. This contract also needs a bit more specific detail about when things are going to happen. For Example "@rivercobber will pay 75k to the indicated payment sign within 24 hours of this contract being accepted" and the participant "I @Kafas1 will add @rivercobber to the town of Rosebush and remove myself thereof within 24 hours of receiving the payment of 75k." you're free to use your own time-frames, but adding timeframes ensures that no-one dawdles about their end of the deal. Also this would open this up for you guys to be able to take time-stamped screenshots of your parts of the deal to prove you upheld your side.
@ClarinetPhoenix this is the second contract to be made up have already payed @Kafas1 for the town and was answering the question she had asked I did not know that I had mention not to put it in I was going to put in the agreement that if I was not on for six months that she gets tow as well as any thing in it, so if the deal is already done what should be put in I thought the date I payed the sign would be good what do you think
@ClarinetPhoenix the problem is we have already completed payment. I just want @rivercobber to have a contract to refer to that he is in fact the rightful owner of the town. I can change the contract any way that I need to in order to get it approved, but @rivercobber already paid and I already added him to the town. Whatever wording you think would be appropriate will work for me
Deal handled in-game, contract locked. If you guys want proof of your deal, i would recommend saying it in chat pm's to each other and taking screenshots, little reason for a contract about a deal thats already done. Thanks, -Waffles
