I know this is the mods job, but they have lots of work, and sometimes this is though to catch. also, new plugin maybe that would not allow you to type more than 2 msgs in /ch tr until after 3 minutes is up, I've seen it on other servers i believe, so i think that's possible
The easiest way to check who sent the latest message is to type /r with no message It will say Now chatting with the player that messaged you last. I do this sometimes.
IMO the whole 3 minutes rule is just a general statement. It really only depends on the speed of chat, if chat's moving pretty fast, you can probably get away with 60-90 second intervals between messages so I don't think this needs to be added right away.
I think the three minute rule was invented because people were seeing the same message in chat several times before it disappeared, so saying "three minutes" most people will just take as a minute or so. Since the rule came out I have always seen it as useless but that's just me.
it's barely taken effect yet, and we've managed, and the time before the rule, we don't really need this.
I enforce this rule all the time, and have punished for breaking it @thehockeykids2 ever since its release. I subconsciously notice trade and when I notice someone is breaking this rule I time them then call them out until they stop doing it. I don't catch everyone but you should be wary of thinking like what steve said here while I am on: As for this suggestion you can always up arrow on the chat until you get to your previous trade chats if you are doing it often enough it will show it multiple times so that you are not going an hour back in chats.
