So as of right now, we have technically four Treasure Medals—Diamond, Emerald, Nstar, and Crate Master (listed from cheapest to technical most expensive). Instead of suggesting prestige, I’m suggesting keys as a reward. Obviously, if this is accepted, what type/amount of keys can be adjusted, but this is what keys I suggest you get when you apply: Diamond—10 main spawner keys Emerald—1 main star key Nstar—2 Main Star Key OR 1 God key (both sounded good) Crate*—2 God Keys OR 1 God Key and 1 star key (both sounded good) *Crate key is currently unavailable and this is if/when it becomes available againWhy is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: These are some of the most expensive medals you can apply for, yet you get nothing back for applying except cosmetic stuff. Prestige for these is not right, but these keys seem to be the better option for a reward. In addition, each application takes out at least 1 million in potential ECD or thousands of nstars from the economy, and hopefully these rewards would entice more people to apply for these medals.Other information: Plugin or custom addition: One suggestion per form: I Understand.
Love the idea of adding a reward to the Treasure Collector Medals. Currently 0 reason to go for them besides just another forum medal that happens to consume monstrous amounts of money along the way. If not the suggested rewards listed, a reward of some sort would without any doubt add more of a reason to aim for achieving those medals. Huge +1 from me

This is incorrect. The diamond medal is the only case where it is true. Emeralds can't be sold to the server, and nstars sell way higher to players than they ever have for the server. For the emerald and nstar medals, there is 0 potential ECD in play. If rewards are to be given they really ought to be retroactive and then that doesn't make sense for them to be physical items - after all, many earned the medals on archive which was reset. Do you still award there? Or do you only award in the future and just prevent certain players from doing it again? Not to mention I feel the keys here are undervalued (notably star/god key). 3400 nstars with the ability to win 4400 stars in prizes? That defeats the whole point.
Edited regarding nstars. Thanks. Also, since when did emeralds lose their /sell value? Last I checked they were worth the same as diamond, yet were so much harder to obtain. I was honestly waiting for someone to state something like this. Yes, you have the possibility of winning more compared to what you pay for the medal. To counterpoint in regard to the star and God keys: - Star keys do have the possibility to win very useful tools such as an Eff7, msword, or arguably the EffX axe, but for those three tools, there are a dozen worthless tools (yes, they are worth a good number in nstars, but nobody buys them; most star tools/armor are more cosmetic items than tools). - God keys do have some amazing prizes, but some are complete shit: $1 gift card, $5k ECD, etc. A great amount of the items are worth low valued six-figures, if not less, so to pay seven figures to win something that is most likely worth six figures or less seems fine by me. - Andrew literally sold God keys for $100 in the past sale (in addition to whatever features you bought) TL;DR these keys are a one time thing for the applications, and you are most likely to get absolute shit from them than something worth more than what you would’ve gotten from selling the materials. It's like the starcasino kinda. That’s up to Andrew to decide, and not really up to my suggestion. It wouldn't be unheard of to reset the medals for players who obtained them before the reset, but again, that's not my call or the suggestion's call.
So basically, you want to turn these medals into high roller gambling medals. That misses the point entirely - these aren't meant to be something you gamble on. These are meant to give you a shiny medal (exclusively) in exchange for gems/stars. Sure, you could win nothing - except in the case of star keys in which case two star crate items either meet or exceed the nstar cost of the medal. It defeats the point of the medal if we're just giving away exactly what it's meant to help control.
This. I knew it was purely a useless status symbol when I applied for my diamond and emerald medals. Still was just fun to have a long term goal and something to be proud of.
I agree with Squid - a useless status symbol - But it sure was fun setting the goal and finally achieving it. I bought some n'stars but mined every single emerald and diamond. It took months!
The prizes suggested are far too OP and have the potential to ruin the economy. I will be siding with @Nicit6 on this one.
