In Game Name: TaylorBros22What part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: Network WideShort title for your suggestion: /seen command improvementsWhat are you suggesting: /seen to run network wide and not reset every time you move servers. Potentially even tell you which server they are on too.Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: It would be nice to see how long you've been online in total.Other information: I'm not sure if this is currently possible but It would be quite cool to have! If it's not possible then maybe it's something that could be looked into for the future?Plugin or custom addition: I believe custom addition, but I honestly don't know. One suggestion per form: I Understand.
HUGE +1 Have it so it lists that person’s last login info on each server. Might be a bit clunky in the chat but it would be super helpful when taking ss evidence for town claims and having to check for inactivity. Would also greatly help new players find their friends when it lists the player was on a different server.
This, would be a very large overhaul, due to how our current userdata storage works... Would involve a ton of exporting/importing, network code, proxy usercache, mysql DB storage, etc. Basically quite a heavy project, however, it's not impossible, nothing is. It's all a matter of, do I really want to dedicate resources to getting something like this done. At this time, there is no answer, and definitely no ETA. I am locking the thread and keeping it under serious consideration. <3 No promises.
This was a MAJOR project but it is now done. It will be launched after our next maintenance. (SkyBlock/Archive will take a bit longer due to their 1.12.2 version requiring a backport.) Changes are as such: - /seen will now work network wide. If a player is on another server, /seen will pick them up and tell you which server they are on. - /seen will respect vanish. If you vanish you will be shown as offline via /seen, once un-vanished, you will be shown as online again. - As a bonus we've also fixed the /pm <username> bug to find a vanished player on the network. (/rn <username> is being worked on.) The one thing we can't do is have online times add up. This would require moving /seen to the proxy and a full blown overhaul. I'm simply not interested in such a project for what is literally just something people would use as bragging rights ("hey I've been online for bla bla hours"). Realistically, who cares, we do constant maintenances anyways lol. Eventually you'll get booted.
