In Game Name: David_TorentoWhat part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: Network WideShort title for your suggestion: punishment for bans that aren't crazyWhat are you suggesting: If it doesn't require a permanent ban then there should be some sort of fine for people who receive bans. Trolling should be 10k if banned for it. Griefing should be 5k/majoy griefing should be 10k. Other things should have punishments via fines too.Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: it sinks money out of the economy but it also encourages people not to break the rules.Other information: Plugin or custom addition: just a simple moderation of the rules. Much like it use to be for town app fines if things were messed up.One suggestion per form: I Understand.
If the player doesn't have money then staff have to setup an entire payment plan etc. For example, a new player is a troll. He just joined today and got banned, appealed and then has a 10k fine. The mods now need to figure out a proper payment plan for this obviously new player who doesnt have any means of making money. Too much work for such small amounts of money. -1
ooooooooor if they dont have the money ingame they just get set back to 0 for balance Overall just meh about the idea, I can get wanting to make some punishments harsher but I dont think this is a proper solution, a lot of changes on the Staff's end on how to do appeals/possibly even what staff are able to do certain things.
-1 if this were to be implemented, then players who have millions of dollars of ECC can just constantly troll since they couldn't get banned. To them, losing 5-10k would be nothing. If this is suggesting that they need to pay 5-10k per troll to get unbanned, then that wouldn't be making bans less crazy, but just the opposite. TL;DR the system we have for punishment, while not the most ideal thing at times, is still pretty solid.
We're not going to set-up a convoluted and unnecessary appeals system. What we have works fine as is.
