As someone who's donated over $10k to the server, I don't personally see a reason to add any additions to things like sponsor ranks when we have dono ranks that go beyond and do the same exact thing. -1 from me.
I personally wouldn’t mind another rank, probably SuperSponsor at 5k, but nothing more. Like Fwg said, there’s already donation tags that serve that purpose. +1
I agree with Fwg. I think there is an important distinction to be made between the Sponsor title, and the donation tags. In my mind, Sponsor is a one-time title that indicates a unique contribution to ECC. That being, a total donation amount over a threshold, regardless of the players the money was spent on. It is a demonstration of a team-player mindset, a generosity-centered mindset, to be so involved in the server and the community that they are willing to spend money on other players, as well as themselves, in the interest of supporting the community, and the server. To this end, I believe that everyone who has the Sponsor title is equal, and creating multiple tiers seems very unnecessary. Where I do support on-going tier additions, is the donation tags. They are a reflection of personal growth and achievement on the server, and as a personal monetary tally, it's cool to see players sit across many tiers.
