In Game Name: MassaHarambeWhat part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: Network WideShort title for your suggestion: Enable exp in NetherWhat are you suggesting: I am suggesting that exp can be gained in the nether once again. Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: The goal is to even out the sporadic changes in the exp market. Exp gain is not much, so it will allow players another alternative to gain exp plus it could increase the amount of money taken out of the economy if more people are aware of this incentive to gain exp in the nether.Other information: Change the Nether to a smaller map to create PvP once again, so there’s the opportunity for high reward but at a high risk.Plugin or custom addition: N/AOne suggestion per form: I Understand.
The only exp that is disabled in the nether is exp from ores (quartz). Honestly, with how much exp quartz ore drops, and how much quartz blocks go for on the market, this would make quartz mining too OP.
The Nether is only world that offers PvP. If this suggestion were to be approved, then the possibility of the Nether ever being a thing again could be revived. I believe that the map would have to be smaller than it already is. This would offer a high reward, but high risk.
That’s what I meant - enable exp drop from quartz ore. You get my point though. Exp from quartz is only 1 exp and that doesn’t give much comparison to diamond and lapis which is 4 exp per ore.
No, quartz drops 2-5 experience orbs and occurs as common as iron does in the overworld. I can easily get a double chest of ore within an hour or two—Adding an extra half hour to fortune in the mining world.
The End also has PvP, we have town pvp arenas. With Fly+ and Pyro+, and also xp, the nether would be too easy
How many people still use the End, pvp arenas in towns, or the /warp pvp? Not many, if there’s any, but those features are apart of increasing the experience of ECC. No one is forced to purchase, however; it is recommended.
/warp pvp was booming the other night Regardless, this suggestion is about ore exp in the nether, not pvp
I just tested this. I mined 192 quartz ore and only received 2 exp for every ore, so that was a total of 384 exp. It was booming 1 night out of 330 days this year so far. The only reason it received hype was due to @FwgKing offering players money to kill them. Thank you, that was nice of you.
I'd say its a +1, from my time in the nether, an hour or so trip has only yielded about 7-10 stacks of quartz along with a minimal number of levels. Gathering the quartz isnt especially easy if you dont have "all" the features, and there is also the risk of dying to other players. As it is right now you need to silk the quartz and then place it in the mining world to get the xp from it. Quite the strange mechanism and hopefully time for an update.
