^^ That's what i usually do when i find different ores in the wild just take them to mining and get even more profit off of the material.

 

I do feel that the WIKI and the application would do well to inform players of this.
Survivor rank is still more than worth the small investment and will provide returns many times over even without xp.

Well, it would be best for them to add the Exp back to the quartz but just take it into mining for now. Their should be tons of quartz ores in the nether right now as everyone goes to the End now.
