Avoid Windows 8 if it isnt touchscreen Windows 7 is perfectly fine for it Try to get i7 if you can aswell but overall nice pick
As they said try to avoid Win8. Unfortunately you are going to be hard pressed to find a manufacturer that will still let you get Win7 anymore. I believe you would have to finagle something. Take a look at this regarding your video card: http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu.php?gpu=GeForce GT 620 http://community.futuremark.com/hardware/gpu/NVIDIA GeForce GT 620/review My only concern is the video card has scored pretty poorly, but your 8Gb of ram should help out with that. Awesome price overall, and you could actually save and get a new video card on down the road with such a good price on the pc. The Intel i5 you have is 3rd Gen Ivy Bridge which is good, and it's has received 5 star reviews from newegg and a couple other sites. Looks like a solid machine.
It will be fine. Nuff said. Windows 8 is fine you just have to get used to it. There have been some minor issues with the java console but Everyone i know has been able to do everything they could on win 7. Im looking at the same pc myself to start streaming again. Its between that and a dell on qvc for a bit more. I would upgrade up to 12 gb ram though. It will alow for you to do other things and still run minecraft at the highest output. Very good choice jets and a great price. Trust me, i have 5 pcs, 2 I built from scratch. If you can build a pc it can be cheaper and give a higher performance. Good luck
Buy it, but also make sure you have win7 download disks handy, or be prepared to get them one way or another.
Alright Jetscat The specs that are listed there are decent but not worth the price. If you would build your own pc (its not tricky) then you can get higher performance parts for cheaper. Lemme give you a quick list of specs CPU: Intel i5 3570k $220 - High performance, great for gaming as it can be overclocked highly with a stable voltage. MOTHERBOARD $130: Asus p8z77-v LX - Great performance motherboard, great features such as surge protection. GPU $120: EVGA GeForce GTX 550TI - An amazing graphic card, able to play all modern games at high settings, also supports SLI. CPU COOLER $20: Arcitc freezer 7 - An amazing fan to keep your cpu cool, the stock fan is good enough although it is highly recommended that you buy this one. RAM $45: G.Skill ripjaws ddr3 2x4gb - Nothing else to say but this RAM is SEXY HDD $80: 1tb seagate 7200rpm - Standard mechanical hard drive, perfect for minor games and heavy file storage. CASE $40: Coolermaster elite 430 - Sexy case with built in fans, lots of storage for cabling, has side panel window to look at the sexy componenets. OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows 7 (i can get you it for free PM me) DO NOT GET WINDOWS 8 OPTICAL DRIVE: get anything, they are as cheap as chips. TOTAL PRICE: $655 including postage and packaging If you need any more help PM me on here or via skype: xosneakyninjaox This system is beast http://www.amazon.com/Intel-Core-i5...=UTF8&qid=1353015136&sr=8-1&keywords=i5+3570k http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-P8Z77-V-...id=1353015300&sr=1-2&keywords=z77+motherboard http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-...cs&ie=UTF8&qid=1353015786&sr=1-1&keywords=550 http://www.amazon.com/Arctic-Freeze...8&qid=1353015920&sr=1-1&keywords=artic+cooler http://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Barra...&qid=1353016111&sr=1-2&keywords=1tb+harddrive http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master...53016199&sr=1-1-spell&keywords=coolermast+430
Build it yourself it's really REALLY really easy and you save like 30-50% on it. Trust me bro. There are LITERALLY about 30-35 steps in building your own computer. Find parts Order parts Click buttan Receive booty Unpackage booty Place this in here place that there wallah.
What jetscat wants is a robust computer that can play games, so it's a bad idea to use either of those OSes. Windows 8 isn't bad, but windows 7 is more preferable.
