/Near was nerfed to only 200 blocks. I am suggesting that either near is fixed back to what it used to be, or make there a maximum of like 1000 blocks.
I absolutely agree. I think keeping it 200 blocks in mining world, but i think it should stay normal in main world.
Personally, I think that the 200 limit (maybe a 400 limit) is a brilliant idea across all worlds. Some players were using this feature to stalk/harass other players and generally making people's time on ECC unpleasant. Revanrose6
I actually like to know who is within 1000m from me at many times, especially when I am in my towns. I use it to keep an eye on other people encroaching on my territory that I want to claim as well and I like to monitor who is in what towns etc that I own, 200m is just not enough for that. I would request that it be reverted back to at least 1000m, more than that is not necessary. I do like that it is limited in the mining world though, helps keep people from stalking me there.
I need this command! I use it to see who is in my local chat and if anyone is in my town. kukelekuuk00 so you know why it was nerfed?
People were using this to follow and troll/harass someone. Also I think if you make it unlimited what it was a while ago if i remember it takes up more space for people who randomly do /near 14000 so basically 200 limits the space usage what is relevant for ECC to stay around how it is now (quite laggy) and not get worse. EDIT: They already use spigot so they have to go with other options to
