I was mining and came across an item in a box called Nametag (found by zombie spawner).. Can someone please tell me what this does ? I haven't had any luck finding it on wiki or forums or even asking people in game.. Thanks TokEnboL
I believe the name tag you found is used to rename mobs, and on this server it is commonly used to name horses, as they are the only non-hostile mob that is reliably spawned and kept. A name can be applied to the item by using an anvil, and applied to the mob by shift right clicking the mob with the name tag in hand.
