Thanks again for the "crackdown" on "trolling", whether it takes the form of verbal harassment or action. I have really enjoyed my first two weeks on ECC. I'm only speaking out because I want to keep the good times rolling The reason I made this a separate thread is that I didn't want to take the trolling thread off on a tangent and also I want to express my support for a continued hard stance against the following: A) Talk of other servers (this is already not at all tolerated in game, which I am grateful for) B) Discussions of staff/mod changes or the circumstances of how people got banned. In my opinion people "bend" the rules and talk too much about this, which can sometimes lead to them griping about how something was "unfair" or they didn't like it. I don't want to hear it. I wish that dealing with and talking about bans were totally confined to the website forum and IRC. C) Discussing banned Minecraft software like the so-called "X-Ray" or other "hacked" things that I'm not going to mention because I don't want to encourage people to test them out. I absolutely do not want to see or hear anything about this. To be frank, some of the rule bending/breaking is occurring in the Ventrilo, which I have been using. I greatly enjoy using the Ventrilo and my understanding is that it is subject to the same rules as the in-game chat.
I agree. I'm also fairly impressed with the new Crackdown thread, hopefully it'll clear off immature trolls.
I'm glad you like ECC so very much, well, it's not hard, as many others, including myself, like it too. EcoCityCraft has struggled, threw many hard occasions, to really any possibility, and got passed it. With all the hard work Andrew has been putting in the server lately, the server has been boosted up, to every Server list, in the interwebs. Loads of players join everyday, and most stay. Players like you, make me like EcoCityCraft even more, I'm glad your here! Down with rule breakers.
I fully agree with Nico. ECC is a great place and there are many things I think players need to drop. I am very happy with the crack down that is currently occurring. The discussion of xray is one thing, it is the use that is the problem, however, discussing it does encourage its use. X-ray is very very unfair in an economy system and is thus very illegal. I am hoping that as time continues this crack down bares fruit and the server becomes a more fair environment. I am happy to see users who understand and appreciate the staffs current course of action . Revanrose6
