These are not the best pictures but you can see the costume that I made out of a laundry basket,duct tape and a safari hat. The legs are drain pipe pieces I got in the hardware store.
That's awesome! Very creative. I wish I could be that creative and good at making stuff. My son's costume is giving me problems, lol. So he wants to be Dr. Trayaurus. The first pic is what he wants to be and the second pic is what I've done so far. I was able to get him the white lab coat, brown pants, and gray shoes. I have painted the front of the box (head) and still need to do the sides, back, and top. I don't think I did that great painting so far, but I'm proud of it. :3 It's great to know there are more mom's out there willing to make their kids costumes! I need to figure out how to keep the box from wobbling around on my son's head, thought about maybe gluing pieces of pool noodles in there. Any ideas?

my idea was similar but if you can fit an entire bike helmet inside and he can just wear it. But it might sit too high. But that is really good! This year he is blooper from super mario bros. The squid.
