I have recently read andrew's news post about the new lwc overhaul and quite honestly, it's scaring me. I have spent nearly 20 hours in creating a 200*200 obsidian layer that I have locked for the purpose of keeping builders from digging straight down into y melon farm. Will this go away? I have spent so much time placing lava, moving a block, and placing another and I'm very worried about my 40,000 block investment. Will this go away?
If you've locked an enormous amount of obsidian, yes it will go away, unless you click it all once every 6 months. Spamming our database with obsidian locks is not something we like nor want. If you secure a town, I see no reason why you must use so many LWC's to secure your entire area.
