So I've been seeing people post these type of threads and I feel it's time to share my story. Almost two years ago (if not, two years ago) a bunch of my friends were talking about Minecraft. I have heard of Minecraft prior to that and I did play it back in Alpha, but I got bored with it and never really played it. After taking a look at it for a second time, I was really intrigued by it, so for Christmas, I got my brand new Minecraft account in 2011. My friends always talked about this one server called "ECC", and I really enjoyed it. I joined in the beginning of 2012, but my mom said that Minecraft was a "virus" and claimed to never play it on her computer again. After that, I would pretty much not play ECC for a while. In March of 2012, I came back to ECC using my really crappy Dell Inspiron 1545 (running Minecraft at roughly 5 fps) and zardgyer gave me 15k for Res (keep in mind that my forum date is not the same as my join date). After that, I played ECC a lot and eventually, I made it a goal to get to Mayor. Of course, farming was impossible to do on my computer because of the FPS, and mining took too long. So as usual, I begged. I do see how annoying that is now and I deeply apologize to anyone that I effected because of this...but one day I lashed out of my normal self in July. Long story short, I believed I became one of the most annoying people of ECC (Again, I deeply apologize to Kuke and TKick as I did harass them on that day. I definitely overreacted and I really regret my decisions that day). I appealed, but not a lot of people didn't like me. So of course, a friend of mine by the name of zoolouie gave me 69k (he quit) and I mined for hours using my laggy computer to finally get Mayor. A friend of mine (leif519) and I would sit in Digital Photography and clear land. There was this really weird effect that happened afterwords....it seemed like people began to like me more and more, so I of course, just proceeded to be kind to people and be as optimistic as possible. After these actions, I met some of my best friends ever, like Starleana, Zeek87, officepwnz123, which is surprising as they seem to be closer to me than most of my IRL friends (thank you guys for everything). A friend (who I will not name) and I began this huge project to get me to President (this was really special because I /really/ wanted to get a rank without any loans, etc). #ProjectPres started on Feb 16, and I updated on Twitter as it happened. I did get my 180k needed and got my town, Bellezza. (Little Fact: Both towns are still not even open LOL) After getting pres, I won an (almost) 800k lotto and continued to win more lottos, but I lost this luck very quickly. With my money, I got two donation features and loved ECC even more. Over the last few months, I've been beginning to sadly lose interest in ECC, so as of last month, I considered myself inactive. Huuuuuuuge thanks to Zardgyer, Anja2012 (who is the reason we all play ECC now), Zoolouie, Leif519, Sneaky, office, star, zeek, moquito, and everyone who touched my life. I love you all, and thank you for making my ECC life truely life changing. lessthanthree
