Minecraft Name: Minecraftninja05 Suggestion: Allow users to apply for multiple warps in a town, the price increasing after each new 1. Reason: I want warps for specific things, and it would be nice to have. It also takes $ out of the economy Any Other Information: Nope Link To This Plugin/Is this a custom addition?: N/a
I presume this is possible as there are multiple warps in the ECCParkour town: blueparkour brownparkour blackparkour to name a few +1
I like this idea, also, more people are going to want to get warps now that everyone can use /warp . +1
My only problem: Imagine I have my town, let's call it Piville. I apply for /warp Piville, then another warp. Because of the nature of /warp, the name needs to differ. Should we call the new one /warp Piville1? But wait, what if another player creates a town named Piville1, would they be forced to live without the ability to apply for a warp? I guess this is one of the reasons why the warps are limited to one per town - to guarantee the fact that warp names and town names should match to prevent this.
We can create a section on the forums which lists all town warps or something, which includes all additional warps. The warps could be named anything other than a currently existing warp, or a different town name. For example, a want a warp for foix's metro/subway. So you could /warp foix subway.
I am not sure whether /warp accepts 2 possible parameters... I doubt it. But if it did, it would be a way. (If it wouldn't, /warp PivilleArena wouldn't work at all though.)
I like that idea, though it would be strange to ask people to have a minimum amount of letters in their warp name.
We could do multiple warps with /warp [townname]-[warpname] (eg /warp recours-farm) Wouldn't be pretty but it is I think only the main way to do it.
This is a Great idea. We already have the Plugin we all know that (Essentials), and along with Nicit's idea, the /warps need to be specific to locations in our towns: i.e. /warp [townname][shops, farm/garden, docks, pvp, plots, etc] so this will indeed be a great tool to increase a towns accessibility...
I see your point, but the problem already exists: what about someone wanting to create a town named station8? No, wait: what if someone wants to create a town named Piville? They can't, because the name is already taken. As of now, first come first served. What I'm trying to say is that, when you make a town, you've got to spend some effort thinking of a name for it and double-checking that the name won't collide with other towns/nations. You have to do it right now, and you will have to do it when (if) this suggestion gets implemented. [EDIT] I now realize Mission001 had already showed part of this point Oh, +100 btw
In that case, the town application rules would need to be changed from /rg i to /Rg i and /warp to check whether it already exists, but I guess that should be possible. Personally, I like Nicit's idea of /warp [Townname]-[Warpname]. For example (if I really wanted to waste a ton of money): /warp Piville /warp Piville-East /Warp Piville-North /warp-Piville-West /Warp Piville-South. I like the idea since I have never seen a town using a hyphen in the name, and don't even know whether a hyphen is allowed in town names.
+1... I think. But are single towns really big enough to warrant this... I guess it would be good if you had a shop/arena... so my vote still stands
