Upon purchasing Mayor some time ago, I've been working on the town that I purchased, and have gotten it almost completely flat. The point of this thread, however, is to ask all the experienced people on the server, what is the most profitable thing, or maybe even the funnest thing, to do with a 200x200 town? Thanks ahead of time for any replies :)

I only started this recently, but might be worth mining out your y-11 under your town.
Youll be surprised at how much resources you actually gain from it or if you dont save any resources, profit. Then when you are done.
if you mined out with a height of 3, you have a perfectly decent place to setup a farm. ;)

That sounds like a great idea :D I'll be able to do that alongside other projects happening on the surface of the town, thanks!

I was considering that, but would an underground farm be better than an aboveground one?

Thats exactally what I have been planning, making a community farm underground. A question about this, though what would be a good option for travel between the farm and the surface?

I was thinking a water ladder but interested in hearing other ideas...

Keep in mind, if your doing an underground farm, it will take a while to mine out levels for larger ones, but the result outcome is way better. I personally have made an underground farm.

If your a good builder, create a special town with amazing buildings and sell them for a high price.

    Goodluck!

If you are looking to make money, I don't really think that making a town is the way to go. If anything, a farm town would be most profitable, but with the amount of competition in the farm perm business, it's not worth your time unless you just want a farm for the fun of it. My advice: Don't use towns for money. Use them for fun :). Think of some ideas for a town or something and be creative!

Sell it. I sold my 150 x150 for 25k and it wasn't even complete! Just a suggestion and 200x200 town with the bottom mined out and completely flat can sell for close to 60 or 70k in my opinion.
