Hello guys! I've been thinking of this idea for around six months now; and thought i'd bring it to action. What i'm going to be making is a 200x200 (or 300x300 if I make the funds) liveable Monopoly bored! You can buy plots on Go! for example, build the CN tower on Blue! All this fun stuff! I'm accepting donations for this project; hence it's going to take a lot, but i'm very dedicated, and am excited to bring it too life! Donations Needed: $30,100/125,000 A LOT OF WOOL (MAIN SOURCE OF BORED) A person who donates will get a finished plot on any choice of block they wish, the top donator will get the advantage (1st pick) and the least doner will get the disadvantage (last pick). *As a doner you will get first pick before the general public, even if you're a lower donator. Pieces there will be: - Town Pieces - Jail - Go - Money - Dice (Live inside them! or ontop of them!) - Chest! - Rail Roads, and more! Donators: ------------------- 1. Mikke10805 - $2,000. 2. Mattybillo1 - $2,000. 3. xX3PICREBELXx - $2,100. 4. Fergus_101 - 18 Stacks of white wool! 5. Topicdog - 15 stacks on wool (Variaty colors) - $5000. 6. Grahamster00 - $1,500. 7. Scottyang - Lots of wool. And $20,000! (Currently first pick for their plot!) I will keep updated screenshots as the project goes on!
Haha, this is infact a very great idea! I can't support it with money right now as im kind of poor. but i might probably do it later on! I remember when i was a kid Monopoly was one of my favorite games in my childhood. In fact, i tried playing Monopoly again a couple of months ago. Just the finished colored/designated square for us to build on, or an actual finished plot (made dice, made community chest, made railroad, made house/hotel, game piece) etc ? I want to donate but the amount would depend on what is included RagMan
Well how it would work is like, there would be a 200x200 Board, and then just like the real game; you can put houses on the piece of the bored, so for example, you'd build a building on the blue square. Rail roads will have like a little rail road track, the chest in the middle will/should be big enough for people to live in (If everything goes well). If you want to wait until further into the project to donate; that works to, as I said I will be putting screenshots on what it will look like. I love the idea, I figured 10, 20x20s all the way around, color coded to match the board, with non-colored spaces (community chest, chance, GO, Jail etc) Just didn't know if I donated for a 20x20 colored square (park place/boardwalk) or a 20x20 white square (community chest or chance) if it would include the actual building built by you, or a blank/colored square for me to build on. I don't mind donating $5k for an empty square and a top pick (picking after those who donate more than me). RagMan
Have a suggestion: for the Railroads, make the actual squares a "train station" (exit / enter)...with a rail track all the way around the board. I have one in my town, Yensid, should you wish to see an example (X: -9600, z: -3500)
How it works is, the top donators get to pick where they want to put their plot, like what sqaure, where on the bored. (They still have to pay for the plot, they just get a first pick)
if you need any help making it i would be glad to help and supply loads of wool My favorite game is monopoly i'll be glad to donate 2000+ wool if i can live on "free parking"
Lol I remember that... This time it's going to be an entire town. You can't order that, though if you donated 2000+ wool you would have a high choice of picking your plot first.
ok dosen't matter that much And are you doing classic monopoly or a newer 1? Also i've been thinking of doing the same thing but with chess and have different ranks living in different pices (example supermod= queen,mod= king, tycoon=bishop,etc)
Please don't do the same because I already thought of the idea... I don't think this would be fair, i've seen too many copies of Minewars (Like right after the first event) and other things; I want this to just be mine this time, I thank you for understanding if you do xD. Also, it's going to be classic, I do plan to add Ecocitycraft stuff though, such as Spawn buildings and such.
