I've read a lot of information on the ways to make money in the past, but there have been changes and there's not as much new content on the forums as there used to be. I know that farming wheat used to be the most efficient way for beginners (mainly people without magic tools or anything special beyond max items) to get started. I also know that up until a few days ago, fishing was pretty good as well. Another thing I saw was that mining recently got buffed, but after strip mining for a while, that doesn't seem to be very good. I imagine that would be better if you had flying, so you could fly around caves, but I only have a couple features. I saw someone recommend doing work for people, but I don't have a lot of time, currently, to dedicate to a job. I just moved and I'm trying to get into a groove, so time is limited/chaotic right now. My question is, what would you recommend to someone who has: Only access to max diamond tools. Features: Back, ExtCommandsPlus 180k Starting capital. That's also not completely mind numbing? Thank you in advance!
Honestly server events can be extremely profitable if you aren't busy during those times. A lot of maze runs you can sell the tickets to other people and walk out with an easy 300k+ in an hour
I know you mentioned that you don't have much time, so this may not be too helpful. I did however make $62,000 in one day doing tasks for two people. They were both kind of basic, just placing dirt/excavating dirt and probably better for a new player. One took an hour and one took a little bit less. If I find a really easy/quick method with selling to shops I'll let you know :3 Since I just joined recently I still don't know a lot of the warps or how running your own town could make/lose money. If $180K and Mayor rank is enough to start a town could you sell plots to new-ish players? There seems to be a constant influx of newbies like myself.
https://ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/market-analytics-all-shops-all-items.223606/ I hear that mochocrap fellow occasionally pays people $1k for every message you send to him. But only when he’s running the event. Typically that pays out 50-100k and you can get a decent chunk of change in a matter of minutes. Mochocrap seems pretty cool
