Money making in the aether

Not worth it, far as I know 0 way to make money there..

 

The point of the aether isnt to make money. It is to build without having to worry about a boundary without it getting greifed.

 

You can make ur own towns and try to sell plots there

 

No. You can't do that.

 

Aether is a place for users to build or for people to view the creations. Pilot is worth it lets just say that!

I know of a trick that used to work a long time ago, not sure if it still does.

Find a cactus on a desert island, claim the island, make a cactus farm. Not a lot of profit, but its something .

Huh. How long has this rule been in place? I'm wondering if the rules changed, or if I stumbled upon a black market a while ago

Clause 2.1 Disallowed Structures
There are several disallowed structures on this server, which are prohibited even in the wild:

• Blocks spelling out inappropriate language
• Signs with defamatory and/or vulgar language.
• Cactus farms.
• Player traps in non-PvP worlds.
• Continuous redstone clocks are not allowed.
  • Temporary, small redstone clocks are fine so long as they are only used for a short period at a time.
• Farms that operate by means of Redstone Lamps or turning off the lights in order to break crops (aka. "Light farming")
• Any buildings deemed inappropriate by staff.

Cacti farms have always been banned from what I remember. Even back in the olden days. I remember a post from @andrewkm announcing or talking about the reason of Cacti Farms being banned. I wish I still had my old harddrive
