Prob consisting of 2 120 x 480 rads and possible another 120 x 360 up top. You are having to cool 3 580 gtx's and a 6 core 135watt processor.. ofcourse you are going to OC the hell out of this thing Total Cost without the watercooling loop = $16000 Watercooling loop would probably add another 3000 to the cost... Yes this is an exercise in excess.. the 4 SSD's would give you almost 2000 MB/s Read/Write speeds. The monitors are overkill but wth... lol You really don't need 2 blu-ray drives but that way you can do disk to disk copying I stick with the 3 GTX 580's as they are need to push a 30" monitor let alone 3 of them. There might be a need for a second power supply also..
i didn't choose the extreme chip as the 3930 is almost the same but i guess when your talking about no limits check this out... Uploaded with ImageShack.us Dual Socket 2011 support for 128GB of RAM i believe... OMG is all i can say... Also did you know that the 3960 and the 3930 are really 8 core processor with 2 cores laser cut.. that means Intel is allreayd making 8 cores.. I'm sure the Xeon line will have them first. I still stand by the RAID 0 for the ssd's as you have RAID 5 for the standard HDD and can do frequent backups. You could do RAID 5 with the SSD's and have the one drive as parity vs. RAID 10 or 0+1 and loose half of your storage. RAID 5 in my eyes gives you speed and storage safty.
