Re: What's a (Bump)? When a thread is replied, it automatically goes back to the top of the first page. When a user replies to his own thread for the sole purpose of moving his thread back to the top of the first page, he usually says "Bump" because there is nothing better to say. The act of moving your thread to the top of the first page is called "bumping". Bump could also be a reference to bumper cars.
