Missing Nstars from voting

    I voted last night and didn't realize I had a full inventory. When i logged in, i received the chat message saying I had received the nstars but they were not in my inventory. I tried to ask if there was a way to recover the six(6) I lost but could not get an answer nor could I locate a thread regarding this issue. Please help. Thank you.

    If your inventory was full then you don't receive the nstars.

    Unfortunately, unlike /kits, if your inventory is full when you are awarded netherstars, you lose them. Never to be recovered. :(

    This happens to me more times than I care to admit. :oops:

    Plus no where on the voting sticky did it state that it would be an issue. A warning there should at least be posted. There was no notification posted anywhere on the forums and should be rectified.

    Just make sure your inventory is not full when voting, it's a simple thing to do before voting.

    There is not one thing that says your stuff will go poof if your inventory is full. I had to post this to get any answers. If I has known it there was some notation of it on the rules or on the voting thread. Had it been in place, I would have logged in prior to voting to clear a spot. This is all I'm asking for at this point so others don't lose out, too.

    Why would you log out with a full inventory in the first place? Anytime I log out my entire inventory is all put away prior.

    This was a topic when nstars were first introduced. I thought there were multiple posts about andrew basically saying what kuke said earlier. It is a known issue but I guess the warnings have faded away. With a quick search, the last time I see andrew mentioning it was a year ago.

    So, personally I apologize this was not relayed. Hopefully more of the newer people read this thread and will be aware.

    The good news is that it should only happen once or twice. Now that you are aware of the issue, you know what is needed to prevent it from happening again.

    It also does not give you other items from voting if your inv is full, like diamonds, emeralds, horse eggs :(
    So I would just say lesson learned and vote again today, in the big picture, your actually more likely to forget a vote or two a month, so it all evens out.

    You're not the only one with kids, its not really an excuse. Come back after and put your stuff away. Or just log in and make sure you have space before you go vote.

    If you take the time to think about it, where would the nstars go with a full inventory? This is just a beginner's lesson that you learn after being on the server. The majority of users have experienced the same issue in their ECC career, and most likely won't let it happen again.

    Let this thread serve as a warning to all users: make sure you have inventory space before voting!

    If you think losing 6 nstars is bad, I once had a full inv except for 1 slot for nstars, my first vote, I got ultra-lucky, which is extra nstars + TWO horse eggs, I got the nstars, the horse eggs disappeared.

    Yea I think I'm done here. When you work 12 hour days and are a single parent with no family, it is an excuse. Sick of the rudeness. I'm done.

    Sorry, but if that's the case then why is minecraft so high on your priority list? You're complaining about a game but it sounds you have more important things you should be worrying about. You can't get mad at us because YOU made a mistake.

    I really hope you aren't referring to my daughter and my life as a mistake. So being a single mom and working long hours, I'm not allowed to enjoy a little downtime every once in a while? Minecraft is not my priority by far. If I'm lucky, I get to play for a few hours every other day or two. All I wanted was an answer to my question and the only thing I was asking to rectify the problem was a note added to the sticky so no one goes thru this again. I'm not here asking for judgment and definitely not from someone over the internet. Like I said before, I'm done.

    You need to get your head right were talking about your full inventory as a mistake. I have kids why would I ever say that to anyone about theirs?
