    Yes, I can.

    1. Rising and Legacy are static, meaning that any addition biomes will not be added unless the borders are extended (which HAD been done in Legacy to add Extreme Hills) Also, Rising was added as a way to add new biomes without extending the borders again and includes a few of the biomes.

    2. Once areas in Legacy and Rising are mined, those minerals / materials are gone for good. An example of why this is suboptimal is that emeralds (for example) are only found in Extreme Hills. Once those are gone, they're gone... from a mining perspective (not including Spawn Shops)

    3. There are / were some areas (mostly around the old Wild Portals in Legacy) that looked like the area around the Spawn in Mining World.
People are more concerned with what is UNDER the ground than the scenery on top, most mining areas look terrible. Not sure if it was completed, but pretty sure there was some world editing in those areas to "environmentally repair" the damage after the Mining World was opened.

    4. Mining World is reset monthly... actually, I believe it is reseeded, to allow new biomes, temples, fortresses, etc. to spawn from scratch without anyone knowing where they are. Thus the "Mining Reset! Get to the CHOPPA!" rush to find these places after a reset.

    5. Mining world looks terrible because a) new people don't know any better yet, and b) veterans don't care because they know the damage is "temporary" and will reset to pristine again.

    6. In R/L Worlds, you can mine and have a local lockable chest. In Mining World, locks do not work.

The above is my memory, observations, and how I read (interpreted) the website, not an official Staff Declaration of Knowledge... since I am not Staff ;)

Also, you don't get EXP in rising/legacy, where in the mining world you do.

if you have an eff 7 go for rising, firstly it is destructive (muhahahaha), which is good. Also eff 7 are silk touch, so no exp bothers here. And finally, fly+ is to expensive when you have rising.
