Hi, I'm relatively new and I was just wondering how people get like 12k an hour by mining as I only get like $500 an hour. Also, how you get so much money per day as I earned 2k in 4 days with some help from people. I was just hoping that some people could give me some tips or if that's just how you start and you get more money when you get better tools and spend longer playing. Thanks, Benjalotte
Mine in the mining world with a fortune 3. This allows you to get the most amount of redstone/coal/diamonds while getting the exp. Strip mining isnt worth it, as the durability goes down much faster and you don't get as many ores. If you /wild land a few times and find a good cave system, it's very rewarding.
By build world do you mean Rising/Legacy? If you can find a good amount of ores it's alright, but if you use fortune 3 you won't get the exp, as it's only enabled in the mining world.
But the mining world is like all destroyed so I mined in build world 4 (the sign near the mining portal)
Until I got an eff 7 pickaxe, I strip mined (3 blocks apart) with a max fortune pick (eff 5, unb 3, fort 3) at y=11. Keep doing /sell hand with the cobbles and gems you find except for diamonds, gold, and emeralds which you can sell for a higher price at the spawn user market. Also I strongly recommend investing in a good armour set such as protection 4 since, as a miner, you constantly run into near death situations by mobs and lava and losing a max tool along with your mining loots is not something one would like to risk. One more important thing to remember is if you fall into lava, don't panic and quickly type /home.
There are some very important factors that affect your hourly income. These can include the following: Type of Pick Efficiency 5 is popular, as it decreases the amount of time to destroy a block to almost no time at all. Unbreaking 3 is useful, as it gives the pick extra durability, which means less time stopping for an e-repair. Fortune 3 is fantastic; it allows you to get more than 1 gem, when you break a certain ore (this applies to redstone, coal, lapis, emerald and diamond ore). Mining Location This also influences your income. The mining world was last reset about 2 weeks ago, as per the news announcement here. By now, the mining world has been all looted for the most part, unless you find a very good, and secluded spot. You can use /wild land to teleport to a random spot in the world you are in. (You must be in the mining world when you issue the command to be teleported to a random location in the mining world.) Another option (I dislike this ALOT) is to mine in rising or legacy. It destroys the landscape though :/ Donation Features - shop.ecocitycraft.com /back ($15 USD) - Allows you to teleport to your last location Multihome ($15 USD) - Allows you to set 4 more homes (5 total). Fly/Speed ($60 USD, or $120 for Fly+) - This allows you to set your speed and the ability to fly in rising, legacy, and the aether. The plus version allows you to do this in the nether and mining world as well. Pyro+ ($15 USD + $15 USD) - This makes you invincible to lava, which is great for mining. ExtCommands+ ($50 USD + $50 USD) - This allows you to repair your enchanted items, saving money and time on having other people do it for you. Also, don't forget to use your McMMo abilities. (McMMo Donation Features would make this useful.) Mining in the nether is also very profitable, but costs $20,000 ECD to enter, and PvP is enabled. Good armor is also needed for mobs and lava (fire prot 4.)
Ah Pyro+ Mining death becomes a thing of the past, since mobs are really weak, as well as few and far between. + now I can have a lava-hot-tub. If you get Pyro+ try swimming around at the bottom of lava pools, the amount of diamonds there is rather astounding...
