The spirit of the Kentucky Derby comes alive in EcoCityCraft as horses and jockeys are pitted against one another in a contest for glory. Whether you’re in the stands, or on the track, you won’t want to miss this exciting event! ♘ How Can I Enter? Want to participate? Read the rules, then enter the competition by filling out an application and posting it on this thread. Get in touch with the event organizers in-game, pay the entrance fee, and bring a horse to the town of “Bekana” (x455, z-352) near Legacy Spawn. The event organizers will help you get your horse into a pen, and you’ll be ready for the races! Don’t have a horse? Grab a horse egg! The event organizers may have some to sell as well. Event Organizers: Blowtube123 and OnSceneReporter Bekana is located at x = 455, z = -325, near Legacy spawn. Bekana town portal is on Floor 5, Chiseled Quartz Quarter, Gold Path. ♘ How Will the Races Work? MineDerby will start on May 3rd with various heats (races). No more than 6 racing contenders will compete at a time. Each race will lead to the next, and the top 3 racers will receive rewards! ♘ What are the rewards? The rewards will scale with the participants. The more entries, the greater the rewards. So grab your friends and sign up! Here are some examples of the rewards system. We’ll include specifics as we get closer to the competition date. 20 Users Competing: 3rd) $50,000 2nd) $100,0001st) $150,000 30 Users Competing: 3rd) $75,000 2nd) $150,000 1st) $225,000 40 Users Competing: 3rd) $100,000 2nd) $200,000 1st) $300,000 ♘ Bekana Town Rules: No harassment of others. No complaining whatsoever. No stealing horses. No vulgar language. No non-racers inside track. No abasement of donation features. ♘ MineDerby Rules: Read through and understand the Terms and Conditions. Follow all the town rules. (Listing town rules soon.) Horse must be named with a name tag. Application must be filled out and accepted. Pay an entry fee of $15,000 per horse (Max of 5 horses). Horse must be brought to Bekana at least 2 days before the grand opening. ♘ Terms and Conditions: If your horse is ever lost or stolen, you cannot hold us accountable. If you miss your race, you cannot hold us accountable. If you do not follow rules and miss your race, you cannot hold us accountable. If you cheat while racing and are caught, you cannot hold us accountable. If you are not given the appropriate prizes because you broke any of our rules, you cannot hold us accountable. If you pay then realize you cannot make it, you cannot hold us accountable and you will not be refunded. ♘ How can I apply? Answer all questions in the quote below and post in this thread.
