    I got on the server and I tried to say hi to everyone but a message popped up saying "cannot send message" and I tried to chat multiple times after that and the same message popped up. I even tried to go between local and global chat and it still wouldn't work. The only time i could chat was private messaging.

    You need to make sure your chat settings are not set to “commands only”
