Welcome to Mercury! Mayor: Doublution Mercury was established by Doublution on May 14, 2016. After a brief setup period, we are now open to any aspiring residents! While the town is just starting now, we hope to start and keep growing from now on. This thread will serve to contain the rules and other information about the town. Rules: 1: All of the EcoCityCraft rules do still apply in Mercury. 2: No griefing of other residents or public town property. If you accidentally destroy any blocks, you must replace them. 2a: Do not build or destroy anything within 50 blocks of town property. A few blocks of dirt is fine, an additional house is not. 3: No stealing from unlocked chests unless marked otherwise. And even then, take only sparingly. 4: Your house or building must stay ENTIRELY within your plot. No building on the stone-slab borders of your plot. 5: Inactivity of more than 14 days will not be tolerated unless the town has a surplus of available plots. If you place a sign on your plot, post here, or PM Doublution with the dates of your inactivity you will not lose your plot. 6: On residential plots, do not build more than ten blocks up (Y=73) or down (Y=53) without the mayor's permission. Ten up and ten down is allowed. On city plots, only the restriction on building down will be enforced; if you check with the mayor beforehand you may be granted permission to break this rule. 7: Do not build a farm on your plot unless it is for materials not found at our farm. Do not build a shop on your residential plot, and do not build a house on a shop plot. 8: Do not use cobblestone or dirt more than sparingly in building your house. Try to make your house creative or more than just a box. In addition, please do not lock the door(s) into your house. If I need to go in for any reason, I'd much rather use the door than break in. 9: By joining the town, you surrender your right to claim that you did not read these rules in violating them. 10: Please observe the additional rules found at our town farms and apartment complex while you are in them. 11: The mayor reserves the right to evict you for any reason so long as he submits an official eviction notice on the forum. An eviction notice will not be submitted if rule two is broken, you will just be kicked outright.
