    Just been reading up, the 1.8 update states that MELONS WILL BE BROKEN FASTER WITH AN AXE! So this means that MELON SWORDS WILL BE REDUNDANT! Everyone who has a melon sword will be ripped off and this would bring ECC's economy to its knees, so to speak.

    Just thought I'd point this out.

    The owner has stated that melon swords will continue to be the best tools to break melons on ecc. No need to worry.
