Am i the only person who thinks that doing what andrewkm is doing is going to bring down all of ecc economy? For example: Fishing. When your level 150+ in fishing you can get mob heads. Zombie/skele heads are priced around 600 now. If Andrew does this, people donate 30 bucks and can be making stupid amounts of money every day. Another example: Swords. People always train swords, and try to get a high level. The reason why is because it makes you have a higher chance at winning pvp battles. Instead of hiring a training dummy, people will donate to get a high level. Spend about what, $40? So over powerd. Andrew, please re-think your decision for the economy on ECC, the mcmmo, and the users.
Bring down the economy? no that won't happen. Change pvp maybe, I still have alot of questions like ; Will mcmmo work in the new HG?,. Are the mcmmo stats going to reset? Will every one start back at zero? Do all stats go up equally for the $10 or just one stat? I have looked but not seen an official post about this yet.
I agree w/ eddy3948 with the swords thing. even it is easy money for the "dummy". andrewkm should make it harder to train on a dummy. or at least make the amount of xp higher to level up
1. Most likely it will continue to be disabled in HG 2. No, no stats will be reset 3. This question will be answered when the feature is announced in a news post/on the donation page.
I don't see what the fuss is about... it's giving people an option to get a little further without as much effort, just at a price. How is this different from the mcMMO+ or mcMMOBonus+? Those who don't want to pay money, will hire dummies. That's not changing in the least.
Im glad I havent really begun training my McMMO abilities yet. Honestly, this doesn't really effect me.
I think everyone should stop complaining. Sure, everyone has their own opinions, but you don't need to start freaking out. Personally, I don't really like the idea, but then again, I haven't seen how it will play through; no one has. Maybe it will be a good thing. We will see. In the end, Andrew has made his decision, and I respect it. I think everyone should.
I have one question. How is it any different than buying EcoDollars with USD? Both are things you can easily get by spending time in-game, and both things you can buy with real money. I don't see how buying mcmmo is bad, but buying EcoDollars isn't.
Its different, cause buying ecodollars is way to expensive rather than just selling donation features. But buying mcmmo xp, that will 100% change and affect the server kukelekuuk00
No, it won't. It won't affect you at all. You will not lose anything because someone can quickly gain mcmmo levels, all it does is give a lazy/rich person an easy way to gain mcmmo levels.
When andrewkm made a thread asking our opinions you should have had spoken then. Andrewkm, from the looks of it, took on what we felt and changed it from $10 for 100 levels to $10 for 50 levels. This donation is not worth it for the first few hundred of most mcmmo skills because you would be better off getting mcmmo+. I know some people that have worked hard on levelling up and may feel cheated but look at it this way, we all are on even playing ground. We can all buy the feature whether with out own money or with ecodollars.
I love the decision he made because im tired of not winning in pvp because my swords level sucks, and the people with a high swords own me. So now i may have an advantage over them because now all i have to do is buy the levels instead of spend hours to get maby up 100 levels. It all depends on if you have the money to spend, which a very few amount do, so this is an advantage for some people.
